Meet The Founders

Claire and Cole Lawson co-founded the Mini-Memoirs project and are collectively responsible for all content creation, including, interviewing, subject selection, video shooting, film editing, music editing and back-end production.

Claire Lawson

Hi, my name is Claire Lawson and I am a part of the 2029 graduating class at Tufts University. As a part of the Tam News, I focus on the journalism aspect of this project. I have written a 20 page research paper: “Minimizing Microtrends: Fast Fashion’s Toxicity and How to Combat It." I am a volunteer swim instructor, and concurrently am co-president a club at school raising money for multiple organizations regarding water safety. I have been awarded with the Gold Congressional Medal, which requires 400 hours of community service, 200 hours of self improvement, 200 hours of athletics, and more. Apart from these, I play varsity swimming along with varsity water polo.

Cole Lawson

Hi, my name is Cole Lawson and I am a part of the 2027 graduating class at Tamalpais High School. I have done video editing since a young age and focus on that aspect of the project. Apart from this, I co-founded and co-run an International Financial Literacy nonprofit spanning 5 continents. I have been published for a research paper centering around mnemonic techniques. I started a math tutoring tiktok account that has reached tens of millions of people, along with being sponsored by an AI company. At school, I co-founded the math/physics club and am co-president of another. Apart from academics, I play varsity lacrosse.
